Accessibility statement

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That standard is the floor, not the goal. A political club that organizes for a community which includes disabled people has no business publishing a site that shuts any of them out.

Every text and background pairing on the site is measured against the AA contrast thresholds before it ships, and color is never the only way information is conveyed.

The whole site works by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every link, button, and form field, and a skip link to jump straight to the content.

Text is sized in relative units, so it responds to the font size you set in your browser rather than overriding it, and the layout reflows to a single column on small screens without horizontal scrolling.

Motion is subtle by default and turns off entirely if your system asks for reduced motion. Nothing flashes, auto-plays, or moves without your input.

Forms use real labels, mark required fields in words rather than by color, and announce their results to screen readers.

Some things on this site come from other services: our membership and donation pages, and our online store. We chose providers we believe take accessibility seriously, but we do not control their code. If you hit a barrier on one of those, tell us and we will raise it with them and help you finish what you were doing another way.

Documents we publish, such as bylaws and meeting minutes, are sometimes PDFs. If a PDF is hard for you to read, ask and we will send it in another format.
